Sechs aktive Mitglieder des Tennisclubs Hönggerberg.

PRIVUS AG is committed not only to building long-term partnerships in business, but also to supporting initiatives where team spirit, dedication, and shared goals take center stage – including in sports. We are proud to support the Men’s Senior Team 1 (35+, 2nd League) of Tennisclub Hönggerberg as sponsor of the team shirts for the current Interclub season.


This commitment appears to have given the team an extra boost: In an impressive group stage campaign, the team remained unbeaten and confidently secured its place in the promotion round. The next major milestone now awaits – competing for promotion to the 1st League.


We would like to warmly congratulate the entire team on this outstanding achievement. The season so far demonstrates what can be accomplished through team spirit, reliability, commitment, and determination – values that also define PRIVUS AG in its daily work.


For the upcoming matches in the promotion round, we wish the team continued success, strong nerves, and, of course, many more victories. We are proud to be part of this journey and are keeping our fingers crossed for promotion to the 1st League.

Changes in PRIVUS AG’s Executive Leadership

A significant step in the continued development of PRIVUS AG: After more than 17 years at the helm of the company, co-founder Thomas Flothen is handing over the role of CEO to his long-time partner Oliver Schicker, effective May 1, 2026.


Since the company’s founding in 2009, Thomas Flothen has built and shaped the company with foresight, stability, and a clear focus on sustainable growth. Today, PRIVUS AG stands as an established player in the market—and is ready for the next stage of development.


With Oliver Schicker, a founding partner is taking on overall operational responsibility, representing continuity and targeted further development. The Executive Board is complemented by Petra Glettig-Tröndle (CFO / Finance) and Christian Fäh (CCO / Compliance), as well as Thomas Schmidbauer and Thomas Flothen.


Thomas Flothen will therefore continue to play a central role at PRIVUS AG—as Chairman of the Board of Directors, a member of the Executive Board, and responsible for portfolio management.


This leadership transition lays the foundation for the next chapters in the corporate development of PRIVUS AG.

Petra Glettig-Tröndle

Partner / CFO

Over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Following her initial training, she moved directly into private banking. In 1998, she joined a foreign bank in Zurich. In 2006, she assumed leadership of the Private Banking Germany team with the rank of Vice Director, followed by a promotion in 2008 to Deputy Director and Deputy Head of Private Banking Germany. In 2009, she founded PRIVUS.

During the 1990s, alongside her professional career, she successfully completed her studies as a Business Economist (Dipl. Betriebswirtschafterin HF) as well as a postgraduate diploma in leadership.

In her private life, Petra Glettig-Tröndle enjoys spending time outdoors—whether travelling to distant countries, going on mountain tours, or tending to her old-town garden. She also enjoys staying active through ballroom dancing (Latin & Standard). A passionate cook, she loves to spoil her guests at the highest level.
