PRIVUS Beachsoccer Event 2026
Fifth edition – and this year we were lucky with the weather too. On 2 September, our PRIVUS Beach Soccer Event took place for the fifth time. In perfect conditions, clients, business partners and friends came together for an evening where suits were swapped for sports shirts and office chairs for the sand.
The newly crowned European Championship bronze medallists from the Swiss national team – Noel Ott, Glenn Hodel, Sandro Spaccarotella and goalkeeper Mauro Capozzolo – showed us how beach soccer is really done. With plenty of pace, skill and astonishing ease, they demonstrated once again just what’s possible with a ball on the sand. We were allowed to have a go at a few things – and realised pretty quickly that it looks a bit easier when the pros are doing it. By the time we got stuck in ourselves, our competitive spirit was well and truly roused. There was running, battling, scoring and, on the odd occasion, experimenting beyond our own technical capabilities. There was certainly no shortage of fun. Congratulations to the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers team on their victory!
Once we’d finished our work on the sand, we moved on to the now equally traditional Tavolata at the Stampf lido. With good food and the odd glass of wine, our tired legs were soon forgotten. Above all, there was plenty of time to catch up off the pitch, continue old conversations and start new ones.
At the end of the day: tired legs, sand probably still stuck in the most unlikely places – and, above all, lots of beaming faces. You really couldn’t ask for more from the fifth edition. Thanks to our four beach soccer stars and to everyone who took part. It was great fun once again.
